Margaret Hills - Epsom Salts 10kg

Quantity: 1

Epsom salts are salts of magnesium sulphate, providing magnesium and sulphur into the body in the speediest way - via the skin.  Epsom salts baths have multiple purposes but essentially help towards alkalising an over-acidic body, improving the health of the skin, easing aches and pains, and improving muscles, bones and joints.
They can help to:
      - open the skin pores, detoxify the skin and maintain the skin’s health,
        reducing wrinkles
-relieve tense muscles, muscular pain and stiffness
-reduce inflammation of the muscles and promote muscle healing
-promote healthy growth of hair and nails
      -increase blood circulation
      -regulate blood sugar balance
      -protect cells from toxicity
      -improve energy
      -improve resistance to illness
      -improve bowel function

Magnesium is an alkaline mineral best absorbed via the skin.  Lack of magnesium has ill effects throughout the body: chronic constipation, heart arrhythmia, poor circulation, muscle cramps, poor bone density, poor nerve function and conductivity, low energy, etc. Magnesium is a nutrient that helps to neutralise excess acidity and halt osteoporosis.

Sulphur binds on to toxic or acidic substances and converts them to a
non-toxic form which can then be excreted. It is an essential nutrient for joint tissue where it functions in the formation of cartilage, tendons, ligaments and synovial fluid.

Epsom salt bath directions:
Dissolve three cupfuls of Epsom salts (about 1 lb or 450 gm) into a bath of comfortably hot water.
Do not add any soap, bath salts, gel, oils, etc.  Immerse yourself.  This is an active bath not a relaxing one.   You are giving yourself a treatment.  Exercise your limbs and muscles, focusing on those areas which are causing concern.  Stretch and relax repetitively all over the body.
Continue for 15 minutes, then get out of bath and dry yourself quickly.
Keep warm, going to bed within the next hour or so.  The following morning, have a cleansing wash down, or shower or bath, in order to clean off any toxins that have risen to the skin surface.  If not, they will be reabsorbed.  This bath can be taken three times each week.

Epsom salts Hand and Foot bath directions:
If you cannot safely get into and out of the bath or have no bath, do hand and foot baths instead.  Add one cupful Epsom salts to a bowl of comfortably hot water.  Immerse feet and exercise them for 5 minutes or so.  Remove feet from bowl and dry them with a towel.  Keep the water hot and repeat with your hands.  This can be done up to 4 times daily.

Note: If you have any heart trouble, take care not to have the water too hot and only immerse for 5 or 10 minutes until you are used to it.
